Anyone with some degree of familiarity with McDonald’s has probably heard of Ronald McDonald House Charities. An NPO launched back in the 1970s, it continues to diligently create, find, and support programs intended to improve children’s health and well-being. The organization has a network around the world of Chapters in a multitude of countries belonging to three distinct programs called Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, Ronald McDonald House, and Ronald McDonald Family Room.

Today, over 270 Ronald McDonald Houses have been set up in various parts of the world. Each and every house provides a safe place for families and their hospitalized children that are dealing with treatment. Each house can be accessed by families situated within a certain distance from the hospital where a child is receiving treatment.

The praise and acclaim received by Ronald McDonald House Charities is practically ongoing. It has been named one of “America’s 100 Best Charities” two different times by Worth magazine. For additional information or if you would like to donate, please visit https://www.rmhc.org.
